Two Dark Shadows BDs:

Halloween 4 and 5:

But no idea how they're going to squeeze 25-30 sigs in - maybe 8-10 per cover (2 DVD, 1 BD)?

Very nice. Thanks for putting those up so quickly. Yeah how would they fit so many on the front?

Do you know if they charge the account right away if I pre-order?

I already had the images stored in photobucket from when I posted them in the autograph thread, that's why Piranha was also included free of charge

As for account charging, Rick said:

Thanks Noirfan , Sue is pretty quick, in error I used an incorrect expiration date for my CC , she emailed immediately to ask for the correct date.

Are we certain that we will get the exclusive bonus DVD ?

Just ordered my signed copy. I figured why not, I want to buy this anyways, and I wanted the extra disc, so basically for the cost of the shipping I get 25-30 signatures. Sounds like an awesome deal to me.

I would like to know more about how the discs will be laid out for content, but either way I guess I'm still going to want this thing. I'm assuming it's not going to be in HD which is unfortunate. But I'm sure it will be a great documentary.

To the earlier post that complained that nowadays you have to buy the extras separate - this is unfair because this documentary was made separate from Paramount/Warner, and is being distributed by a different company. It has nothing to do with the box set. While I am disappointed in no new extras in the Warner box set, that has no effect on this documentary that the creators worked so hard to put together for the fans.

The bonus DVD (available exclusively via crystallakememories.net and the official launch event at Dark Delicacies) will contain approximately 4 hours of extended interviews and featurettes that were not included in the documentary.
The post is credited to '1428 Films/Hutson Ranch Media', who will be releasing the set, but not sure what the link source is. I hadn't emailed Dark Delicacies to confirm.

I sure hope we will be getting the bonus DVD - that's what convinced me to order from them - I figured between the bonus disc and the autographs it was a great deal.

Thanks Noirfan,

I am in Connecticut and will not be traveling for the event, I assume that everyone that ordered from DD will get the 4th disc and the autographs regardless if you decide to attend or not

Just pre-ordered this. The price is kinda high and the shipping is ridiculous, but I'm a big Friday the 13th fan and I must have this! I'm curious to know who will be signing these.

The price was set by the company releasing it, DD are charging list price. Also, shipping is the same if you order multiple copies. I don't mind paying an extra $7 for over two dozen autographs. Also, how do we know that the Crystal Lake Memories site won't be charging shipping? Obviously it won't be $13, but even at $5 the additional $8 for that many autographs is a terrific value. Imagine what you'd pay at a convention!

I wouldn't mind having his autograph. Maybe Kevin Bacon? He was in the first one.

Guessing he might be too famous to sign it perhaps. Might get most of the people who played Jason though.

I think the shipping is higher than usual to offset the extra work of getting all the signatures. It says as much when you order.

Thanks for the heads up, especially with the info that it'll be signed by over two dozen people. I went ahead and got mine ordered.

if you got the $ and want this more power to ya
Having seen posts you've made both here and on DVD Talk, I know you're a big fan of extras on releases. I'm not being critical, mind you; I'm the same way, and it would have been cool if this were somehow a part of the box set coming out.

With that said, when you consider it's over 11 hours worth of footage, with well over half of that being it's own feature presentation, not to mention being autographed by quite a few people, to the say the least, it's certainly worth it in my eyes. Frankly, based on the specs I've seen, I'm anticipating this release more than I am the actual Friday the 13th box set...

Well, as a convention goer, nearly every Friday The 13th alum is 20 bucks PER autograph. Feldman and Sean Cunningham have been as high as 30. Kane Hodder just raised his to 25 bucks.

So if you get the doc PLUS 25 graphs, how they hell can you say that's not worth 40 bucks????

For people actually going to the signing, I have read that sometimes the celebs will sign other stuff for you for FREE as long as you buy the disc. Now that is one heck of a deal!

No way. Bacon is great. He wouldn't do an event like this, but he tours with his bro, BACON BROTHERS, and all you have to do is stand by the stage door and wait for him to come out. I got him to sign my FRIDAY THE 13th poster a few years ago that way. Took pics with us. Hung out for like ten minutes. So down to earth. And while many of the bit players charge 20 bucks per graph, he was free.
Pretty much the same with Crispin Glover. He tours with his movies he makes, and if you go he does a signing after where he signs for hours and will sign anything you bring...for free.

You are aware this is a SEVEN hour documentary that Paramount nor Warner had anything to do with. It's a few dudes traveling the country finding the people that made the movies possible.

Once again....you paid money to own CLOUD ATLAS.
