I have a NES and about 300 games, so yes, I love old school gaming.

Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow Version. Boy did those games rock. I think I still have Blue Version lingering about somewhere, along with a Gameboy.
Not if they are really "old school" but hey. Their old.

Alot of great games mentioned so far. I loved Zelda, Track and Field, 3D Running Man Games (came with card board 3D glasses).

One of the best things I've done was Mod my old Xbox, put in a bigger hard drive, now I play all old school games from mulitple platforms with out having 6 of them scattered everywhere.

My all time favorite game, esspecially on 2 player has to be Contra!

Loved that game

Ah yes, the "Konami Code." It worked on a lot of their games.

For me, its all about Sonic Jam on my trusty Sega Saturn. Sonic 1,2,3, and Sonic & Knuckles all on one CD.

I remember 'Sewer Shark' -- I think I enjoyed that one briefly before I unloaded my Sega CD on some other poor schmo.

I grew up overseas where console gaming wasn't as prevalent, so to me (up to a point) my teeth were cut on PC games (mainly Sierra) -- Police Quest, Space Quest, King's Quest and of course, Leisure Suit Larry.

great thread...bringing back a lot of good memories

I defintely played a lot more when games were simpler

I loved Burgertime on Intellivision (yeah, I was one of the few that had one instead of Atari)

I got my NES in '87 (the big xmas rush year) and had some geat games...Mario 1, 2 and 3, Punch Out! (Tyson version), Contra, Tetris and the list goes on (never played Zelda though)

I got a SNES and enjoyed games on there like Mortal Combat, NBA Jams, Super Mario World, Pilot Wings, F-Zero

Got a Sega Genesis and mainly played Madden on that thing and then got a Sega CD...yeah, played Sewer Shark and other CD games including Dragon's Lair and a Formula 1 game and a game called Tomcat Alley

Next console was PS1 (wasn't mine, by then my younger siblings wanted their own gaming system) and didn't play much

Then I got a PS2 and then eventually XBox and now PS3.
But the old school games were the best

I forgot one, all the baseball games reminded me of Baseball SImulator 1.000 for NES...nothing like calling games after being up 10 runs

The Intellivision baseball was pretty good for it's day, especially when it said "Your Out" in that creepy cancer box voice.

I loved all of these games mentioned in this thread, played almost all of them.

Anyone remember this one?

The game used to scare the crap out of me, when that Sinistar character came screaming onto the screen.
