Waiting for one or two of the movies I like frustrates me. One movie I want, for example, comes out in November. In my opinion, studios should be releasing 30 films at one time. I love me some Blu-Rays! If the studios release all these movies, they would reap in the profits. I would certainly contribute!!!

Right now bluray sales are like 7 percent of DVD sales or some crazy low number like that...maybe lower. Sure everyone on these forums would buy the films, thats not nearly enough to make a "ton of money". Give it time, give it time they will come!

I understand that rationale but the masses wont buy into blu ray UNTIL all these big movies are out. Many people wont even think about getting into blu ray until there is a sizable choice of movies. So in a round about way they are just delaying the success of the format. The sooner more movies are out the sooner people will feel like its worth it.
