Default Is my BD picture shaking a bit?

I have a 40 GB PS3 that is about a month old. While watching Blu-Rays, I would swear that I see the picture shake the slightest bit every 20 minutes or so. Sometimes I think I'm just seeing things (I am too much of a video perfectionist), yet other times I'm certain...almost.

Anyway, is anyone else having a similar problem? If so, is it the unit itself or my settings?

I have a 50" Samsung DLP (HLP). I have the PS3 hooked up with HDMI and set to 720p output.

I don't think my Sam. has game mode. It was built before that became a standard feature.

my toshi was about 1 year old(I got the sony last year) just look if not it could be a different setting in your options on either the ps3 or tv. List some of the options in your tv.

Well, let's see...

My Samsung (from 2004, I think) has the standard Samsung picture seetings: Dynamic, Cinema, and Standard. Each can be adjusted for Brightness, Contrast, Color, and Sharpness. That's pretty much it. I've had the TV for a awhile now and have not seen this issue with any other source plugged into the HDMI input (DVD player/Cable box, etc)

I'm not. I'm using stereo speakers that are a good distance away.

You know, I'm not really sure. I think it is RCA gold or whatever. It has worked with original DVD player for quite some time.

Thanks for all the help, everyone.

No, thankfully...

Seriously though, could it just be the fact that 1080p scaled down to 720p just isn't as smooth? Is that even true?

You shouldn't get any shutter on scale down.
