You tweeter experts may be right. I did a thorough examination of my box and it definitely ruptured. The likely problem is that I input waaay too much power into that tiny little box, thus blowing my tweeter. I think I will sack my existing pair and replace them with Realistic brand speakers from Radio Shack. They're on sale for $29.99 for a set. For that price they better be able to handle a full load.
