I liked Firefly enough like Angel becuase Joss Whedon did it but i still have a place in for Buffy. The day they announce a release date for that on blu i might die. Well with Firefly coming to blu and Joss' new show Dollhouse on Fox i hope the poeple at Fox get off their asses and start working on a Buffy boxset, i guess they can do the movie too.

I have seen it on universal HD and it looks awesome! Cant wait for this to be released on Blu. This is one of the best shows EVER!

Ive never seen this and have actively been avoiding watching any of it while waiting on the Blu-ray. Hopefully we'll get it soon. Sounds like a great show. I did watch Serenity and want that also.

I've been waiting for a good price to make Prison Break my first TV on Blu purchase, but after hearing this news, I will def wait and make Firefly the first TV to grace my Blu collection!!!

I've purchased this set at least five times and successfully recommended it at least a dozen times. I will be doing the same with this release. I'm normally pretty hesitant to but BD box sets because of their price, but I'll gladly pay full retail for this and any other Whedon release.

Awesome. I bought the DVD set for $20 a few months ago. Will definitely be trading this in towards the Blu-ray version. Hopefully Fox won't price it at an outrageous amount.

She also did multiple episodes of "The 4400", "The Unit", an episode of "Angel", and of course now plays on "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"...

LOL, I was you about a year ago. Purchased Serenity and then had to have Firefly. Terrific premise, Firefly is a bit uneven from episode to episode, but has a terrific cast and is a fun ride overall. Ideally, you would watch Firefly, then Serenity, but it's not mandatory. Have fun!

I had no idea Joss Whedon, whom I always just thought of as the guy from Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place, was this talented. He played the boyfriend of the blonde chick that only liked to do it missionary style. Don't ask me why or how I still remember this. Anyway, it's nice to see him doing so well.
Also, I think it would be cool if it was like $80 and the sold the whole series and the movie together with a nice looking package. I'd totally buy it!

Nathan Fillion played the boyfriend/husband of Traylor Howard on "Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place". He also played Captain Mal Reynolds on "Firefly" and "Serenity", was in the final season of "Buffy", the star of "Drive", "White Noise 2", and co-starred in "Waitress" with Keri Russel, etc... and is currently playing on "Desperate Housewives".

Joss Whedon is the creator of "Buffy", "Angel", "Firefly" and writer/director of "Serenity" among other things...
