Absolutely not. Ocean's Thirteen was shot with 35mm film and edited using a 4k digital master, both FAR higher definition than 1080p.

It looks exactly as Steven Soderbergh intended. I happen to love the look of that movie, but it lacks the gloss that a lot of folks here expect with every single release.

As has been meantioned above, try a Pixar release or some of the others mentioned before changing anything about your system. If it still looks soft to you, then it it's time to make changes.
