Default Setup question

Hello all.
I have finally decided to get a PS3 but I have some questions about the setup.
My TV is a Pioneer is a SD-533HD5. It's HD but doesn't have any HDMI jack.
It has a DVI entry though so I'm thinking about buying a HDMI/DVI cord, like this http://www.optimization-world.com/details/prodid/8.html. That would work, right?
Other problem is with my receiver, it's a Sony STR-DE545 (fairly old...), it only has 1 optical out and 1 digital out, one buying used by my HD direct TV and the other one being used by my DVD player which I need to keep because I watch my European DVDs on (it has the PAL/NTSC converter built in).
So how can I plug the PS3 in my system?
Thanks in advance.
