It's gone back up to £75 again, even though Amazon aren't selling it.

What the hell is going on with this?

As long as it doesnt go below £65 I am happy cos that is what I paid for standard edition.

I was very lucky with this - I managed to get one off ebay about 2 months after release for £55.
I don't think the seller knew it was a collectors edition - she said she'd been given it as a gift but had them on dvd.

Result for me!!!!

I wish they'd release something like this containing all of the restored Hitchcock silents. Still surprised the only one to be released so far is The Lodger.

Just bought on Ebay the standard set for £40 and £6 change for the shipping. Been waiting to get the set for some time. I'm happy about the price and it will be fun to have some more Hitchcock films in my collection, I only have North by Northwest at the moment.

£46 for what you get is very nice value indeed.

Vertigo, Rear Window, Psycho and The Birds alone are probably worth that but you get a further ten movies and lovely packaging.

Yeah, even more impressive if you have unwanted DVDs/blu rays/games that you might want to trade in for it. I'm thinking of maybe trading in The Last Of Us (which I adored) and then putting down £13 to get this. Seems like a steal. I dunno if i'm ready to give up The Last Of Us though. But yeah, go for it quick guys as i'm sure theres other sites out there that have given people the heads up.

Glad all of these will be out by September individually. Not a big fan of boxsets of actors or directors (since none are ever 'complete' and usually contain films I don't want) so this makes me happy - Marnie, The Birds, Vertigo and Rope for me (already got Rear Window). I'm going to watch Trouble With Harry, Saboteur and Shadow of a Doubt as well at some point.

Frenzy and Psycho are also excellent. Add cost of yours and these its cheaper to buy the set. Then you have the option of trying the others.
I have this set. It's lovely great artwork and the films are awesome.

Nice spot, I've been waiting for ages for that set to go down to a price like that. I only really wanted Saboteur, Shadow of a Doubt, Rope, Rear Window and Vertigo, so £40 (including postage) is just right.
