Halo and Halo 3.

Im really at a loss for words. No offence to MS halo fans, but to me, it seemed that there wasnt any other good games for the xbox, and Halo became popular by proxy.

Halo was a launch title, so you are right in the way that there was not much competing with it at first, but it still sold strong even after more titles came out.

A game will tell you how truly good it is by sale numbers.

This is what Im trying to figure out. Why are the sales numbers so high. Im under the impression that Halo is an impulse purchase that all MS fans must own or be left out in the dark of whats supposed to be cool. I love FPS's. They are my first choice

And Yes.... im a pc gamer first followed by consoles.

I can enjoy any game as long as it is fun to play. I really do not care about what console it is on. I will not buy a PS3 because of the lack of truely great games. I see many great games on the PC and Xbox 360, so that is why I play these systems.
