It's probably best not to put anything in ones mouth during AVP:R. The stomach acid could come up and melt your shirt off... or your cat's skin.

The last thing you want is to scrub your carpet all night.

Did anyone else notice something like this on their version?
Oh no. Not another defective blu-ray disc! At least you can watch the digital copy on your computer or iPad.

Speaking on wine... I've been whining all night about the lack of a digital copy for AVP1 in this AVP 2-pack. At least I snagged my pair for $27.95.

I could use a rum and coke.

Color me dissappointed. The movie looked like it had been filmed in a coal bin at midnight. I guess it would be great if you owned a plasma and could rave about the deep tones of black rolling off the screen. Just too dark for me to really enjoy - too bad because the movie itself wasn't bad at all.

all I can say is wow this is a must buy for anyone looking to show off there system the blacks are amazing and the sound never seems to go below 4.0mbps and really stays around 5.0-6+ ... I just wish they spent less time with the boring characters and more time killing lol, some funny scenes tho, the disk thing and the hospital lol , I just hope they try 3 and leave the people either out or in for like 20 min max

anyone who owns a tv that they feel confident in having good contrast this is a MUST OWN

Worked fine here. Using a PS3 with the 2.30 firmware.

Make sure that you are using the proper disc. The disc on the right of the case is the digital copy. The Film is behind the insert on the left hand side. I did the exact same thing with Hitman, tried to play the digital copy DVD instead of the Blu disc

Thanks. Quick story...

I was pumped to see Edward Scizzorhands in the theater upon it's release. The commercials looked very cool. Then I read a review in the paper by some idiot and I didn't go see it. Turns out I was the idiot. I rented ES when it hit VHS and was pissed at the movie critic, but more pissed at myself for listening to jerk weed. Never again!!! Lesson learned. Would have loved to catch it on the big screen.

I've seen all movies of the 'Alien' franchise and this is how I rank them...

1. Aliens + Predator (TIE)
2. Alien
3. AVP + Predator 2
4. Alien Resurrection (eh whatever)
5. Alien 3 (sucked)
6. AVP: Requem (crappy)

Sorry! AVP: Requem...awesome PQ & SQ but you can't polish a turd. I just couldn't get into this dark (literally) presentation of Aliens fighting a Predator while human characters that I didn't care about get mutilated. Definately a let down for the franchise. And what a stupid ending too. I'm dissappointed.
