I didn't say I got a confirmation email - I said I got a Paypal reciept. Nothing from the company themselves.

99% of the time if you pay for something via Paypal you get both a reciept from Paypal and an email from whichever company you've purchased from saying "thank you, here's your order number" etc etc.

It's a concern to me as a UK resident ordering from a small, relatively unknown US company when they do not personally confirm the order.
It's basic online customer service to acknowledge the transaction.

I'm not sure about the others.
It was talked about on NSA that she was totally low balled on returning for part 4 as well, so maybe she still has bad blood??

Fishburne is just a dick. Bacon and Depp LOVE that they came up through horror films to fame. Bacon was just talking about his Friday death scene on Leno last month....Depp said once he wished he could do conventions with the cast, but clearly he's too big a star and would cause riots.

I think just finding time with the bigger names was the issue. I think.

I was about to send them an email about my new card and they sent one before I got to it....saying my card was bad. Told them I'd call them in the morning and sort it out.

Sadly, I think it's just her, Adirenne and Robbie maybe? Most of the rest of the part 1 cast live in New York, and I kind of wanted to see some interviews with Brouwer, Crosby, etc.

Why not give them a hot minute?

This is a small retail store that is processing hundreds, if not more, orders for these one-of-a-kind items (as each one is being individually signed). They are processing these by hand - it's going to take a few days to get through them.

As you said, this is a small retailer - you aren't ordering from Amazon.

You placed an order, it has been charged as expected, and you have been given a receipt for it.

I am sure everyone will get an email when they actually ship with shipping info - to be honest, it's kind of nice to not get 7 emails about one order. "We have received your order." "We are processing your order." "Your order has been charged." "Your order has shipped."

In any case, if you really are that worried - cancel, they have a big wait list of people who want the signed edition waiting to take your place.

No, ROFL.

That's absurd. And paranoid.

He's talking about the Crystallakememories.com order and none of those are being signed.

To be honest I'd much rather receive multiple emails about my order than only one. That way I'll know what the status of my order is rather than not knowing anything at all.

Give them a hot minute? They've had months.

There's nothing difficult about sending out an email whether you're Amazon or some small online company. We live in a very technologically advanced world, automated emails to every email address given at the order stage isn't a big deal.

And why do people on forums make mountains out of molehills in order to make something massive out of one small, simple statement.

I would've liked ONE email from them confirming reciept of order for my own piece of mind. I have not asked for or mentioned in these forums that I wanted 7 emails informing me about every step of the process.

There is no excuse for a company who can make a 7 hour documentary, process that documentary, press onto bluray discs, set up a website for it, a twitter page for it, a facebook page for it etc etc not to send an email out when an order is placed.
We're in 2013 in case you hadn't noticed!

They stated that the paypal receipt was the receipt on FB and that you would also get a shipping e-mail once it's shipped. I ordered Never Sleep Again from them with no problems. However, with Never Sleep Again you did get an invoice confirming your order along with an order number when you ordered through paypal.

I do think they should have a functioning e-mail and resolve that by clearing out their inbox or changing to an e-mail server that can handle the volume of e-mails they are receiving.

You know, I kinda have this image of all of us sitting outside on the porch, chin in our hands, looking out and waiting for the mailman to bring us our blu rays.

Even though it should only be a few days, it seems like forever.

There are 2 new clips on the web site; final girls talk about their fans, and 3 actors talk about playing Tommy.

Yeah, I had to give them the new expiration date as well about a week ago and the person I talked to was very nice.

Some random quotes from the company on FB, that may help some of the questions/panic people have:

"All orders placed on the website will receive the bonus DVD."
"The documentary is being released on Blu-ray and DVD REGION FREE."
"If you received a confirmation from PayPal your order has been received."
"...While we can't guarantee that everyone will receive their order on the release date, we will do our best to process all pre-orders on or before 9/13. Please do allow 3-5 days for delivery. International orders will of course take slightly longer."
""Crystal Lake Memories" is being *released* on September 13th. Delivery times will vary per order and we have never guaranteed a specific date of arrival. Thanks to all for your patience and support. It will be well worth the wait!"

I don't have time to sift through endless pages but isn't the autograph signing (the Dark Delicacies event) happening on the 13th? Or is everyone talking about every release EXCEPT the DD?

Thank you for drawing attention to this. CLM never said people would have theirs on the 13th; the 13th is the release day... As in the day they 'release' the product from their inventory and start shipping orders.

Perhaps people have been spoiled by Amazon and places that guarantee you get it on the release day, but that was never promised or implied here.

I know a lot of people wanted to have a celebration of sorts on Friday, but I think some have let their expectations go to unreasonable places.

Lets just calm down a little bit...
