I just got mine yesterday so it's going to be a few days before I get to #3, but if you remember how far into the movie it is I can take a look for you.

The back was posted on page 4. No artwork inside, just bare metal. The discs themselves are plain black with only the movies' logo and rating information.

Thanks for posting the pics. Shame there is no inside artwork like their ROTLD steelbook. Looking forward to receiving mine

Weird, I just ordered the Basket Case Steelbook and ROTLD steelbook off Amazon UK. Basket Case was 20.25 pounds and ROTLD was 19.00 pounds but the total with shipping was 36.78 pounds! Maybe better not to ask questions?

If you live outside the UK, then they removed VAT.

Just watched Basket Case 2 last night and HOLY F**K! It looks unbelievable. Apart from fluctuating grain and possibly noise in a couple scenes, it looks STUNNING! Solid 4.5/5 from me. Would never of guessed!

So can someone point me in the direction of some screencaps?

I'm also interested in a comprehensive review of the PQ. If it's no different to my R4/R0 dvds then I'll hold off a while longer

You can buy with confidence. Basket Case 2 and 3 look stunning and Basket Case looks great too. The special features are excellent too.

I just received this set and I am having a small issue. I reside in the U.S. and I cannot access any of the special features on the Basket Case disc other than the documentary, radio spots, or still galleries. This occurs when I am watching this on my PS3. I do, however, have a region free Blu-ray player and I can access all of the features on the disc when using that player. Has anyone else had this problem?

Umm....there's your problem, the PS3 isn't region free, so if anything is in PAL/1080i, you won't be able to view it.

Please try to add something of value to this site.

The trilogy is listed as being region free in the database, without any warnings about certain extras not playing, so it's not unreasonable for one to assume everything will playback fine in their PS3. I don't think anyone else has even mentioned PAL extras being included in this thread until tylerdurden's post.

It's not unreasonable to assume that by looking, but it's unreasonable to not know after trying it in both and having it only work in one.

"X doesn't work in my region A player. X works in my region free player. Anyone have this problem, what could be the reason?"

The solution is quite obvious.

And PS, your post added literally nothing of value either don't take the internet so seriously, you'll have a stroke

There are times when the PS3 doesn't play something that another regular BD player might so the answer is hardly obvious. It could be something as simple as deleting the cache file from the BD data folder for instance, or one having a more updated firmware than the other. There are plenty of examples of this around this site. You consistently make useless posts, so me telling you to be more useful was in itself useful.

Finally bought a copy off Amazon UK, been tossing back and forth on buying it for about a month. Hopefully it arrives ok, last one I ordered was The Evil Dead, was shipped in just a bubble mailer but showed up completely unharmed. Heres hoping this one does too.

Be sure to hang on to the Something Weird Blu of the original. The PQ is a bit better than the one in the Steel.

The set is still worth getting for the sequels and exclusive Doc, though.
