Child's Play

I remember having a My Buddy Doll and Child's Play was the movie that made me afraid of the that toy. I remember some nights having to put the doll in the closet just so it would make me feel better about sleeping.

Being that I was 3 year olds when I first saw it, Jurassic Park scared the hell out of me.

I remember seeing that stupid movie about the town that was haunted by the tooth fairy (I can't for the life of me remember the name) but certain parts in that movie gave me nightmares.

The movie that creeped me out the most as a child was definitely Leprechaun. I remember walking home at night through the woods when I was like 7 and protecting myself with a stick.

Ha. I was about 4 or 5 when I first saw Jurassic Park on VHS. I can remember a couple parts that scared me as a little kid. The beginning of the movie with the Raptor scared me and then when
[Show spoiler]they are chasing the kids through the kitchen
. Man, still gives me chills.

Um, all of them...? I was a TREMENDOUS wussy when it came to scary movies as a kid. They don't bother me at all now, but as a kid, I pretty much refused to watch a lot of scary movies, and even mildly suspenseful scenes in action movies would often have me covering my eyes (those melting Nazis in Raiders Of The Lost Ark... ).

The movie Salem's Lot, which was about a town of vampires. Especially the scene when the brother is floating and knocking on the window trying to get into the bedroom.

Learned the lesson that if someone is tapping on your window, DON'T OPEN THE WINDOW TO SEE WHO IT IS!!!

Part II scared me more, because of how Freddy
[Show spoiler]cuts his way out of the body.

The Entity
[Show spoiler]getting raped and beaten by an unseen force.

Exorcist made me feel really uneasy.

Halloween III. I was around 8 when I first saw it (on network TV) What the heck were my parents thinking letting me watch that?
That is the only movie that's scared me to the point where I covered my eyes in my childhood.

I wish my son was like me, he gets scared watching The Magic Schoolbus.

never watched a lot of horror films as a kid but there were scenes in other movies that scared me - the transporter malfunction in the first Star Trek film scared me(hey, I was only 6 or so). Also saw some vampire film, I think a Dracula remake, and while it didn't overly scare me at the time I did have some nightmares that night mostly because of him melting in the sunlight.

That reminds me of another one, the Baboon through the transporter on the "The Fly" remake, that one although not scary anymore is still unsettling to this day.

There was only one...that frightened me and honestly it is the reason that I stayed away from horror movies for as long as I have was Steven King's IT.

I mean come on, how could you not look at this face and not crap your pants...

Good choice, this would be mine too. To this day, it still irrationally frightens me. I think it's buried in my subconscious from being a small child. I'll never get over it ha ha.

Yeah, that's another one.

I have this little story of one time I feel asleep with the tv on and wake up during the middle of the night and there I saw the Leprechaun on tv.
