This kind of took me aback since my tastes run towards longer movies and the movies I like generally I would like if they were even longer.

So I was wondering--are there movies that you like or even love that you would like more if they were shorter.

I'm referring to theatrical versions not later extended/unrated and Director's cuts since I know there are many, many people who don't like the extended versions of movies they first liked in theater.

So any movies you like that would be better shorter?
1) A good long movie doesn't wear out its welcome and is paced well.

2) A bad movie, even at only 90 minutes, will feel tedious.

So the real problem is the overall quality of the movie itself, not necessarily running time.

Having said that, I could do without the Danger subplot in Million Dollar Baby, and I wish that movies in general had less exposition. Filmmakers should trust viewers to be able to connect the dots. The best (or worst) example of unceasing exposition is Inception.
