I love Zodiac, but I feel some scenes could have been cut, or shortened. I know most probably won't agree with me there.

All of them. I don't have the patience to even sit down for 1 1/2 hours anymore.

One that looks like a jet ski with skis on the bottom? There's a few of those on sale in my neighborhood.

NONE.
There are movies where boring parts should be taken out and replaced with non boring scenes but nothing should be shorter.
That said there are about an hour's worth of insanely boring scenes of James Stewart driving in Vertigo.

Cut off 90 minutes of Transformers 3 and it'll be decent.

Akira Kurosawa is a legend but letting a movie end wasn't one of his strong suits. Slice an hour off Ikiru, and you have a much better film.

Kick-Ass 2 would be better if it was an hour and 43 minutes shorter.

In all seriousness I agree with the Ebert quote.

It'll probably end up being an unpopular opinion, but I say Vertigo. I think it would really benefit from omitting about 20 minutes from the first half of the movie. The second half is fine as it is, but the first one drags in comparison. The movie would become even better if the pace of the second half could be set from the beginning.

King Kong (2005), the first hour in New York could have seriously been cut down.

Most Alfred Hitchcock films

And 7 Samurai was about an hour+ too long if you watch the full cut

The Dark Knight Rises had some serious pacing issues. To be frank, Catwoman added nothing to the movie outside of being a plot device of leading Batman into a trap for Bane.

In it's defense, it was an 80's teen movie, so it had to do the obligatory "New kid having a tough time fighting in with rich snobs at school" shtick.

The Wolverine. I nearly fell asleep a couple of times watching this in the theatre but that's just me.

what would you take out? I agree that some of the scenes with his blonde painting friend are long and drawn out.
