just sitting here reading other forums and noticing how poorly people spell common, everyday words.

desided - decided
finley - finally
squrrial - squirrel
weighting - weighing
lps - lbs (concerning weight)
paied - paid
stold - stolen
memrys - memories

and that was just from one person's post.

granted i don't have the best grammar (i don't capitalize words on purpose, but that's just the way i type), but i always proofread before i hit submit. yes, i do miss a couple words here and there, but at least i attempt to spell correctly.

of course it doesn't help that particular forum doesn't support any sort of spell-check so if you misspell a word it doesn't let you know. but seriously, when i type, if i type a word incorrectly i usually know it because it didn't feel right when i typed it.

no, i'm no trying to be a snob by pointing out someone's bad grammar. but it just grates on my nerves when i have to re-read something that should be simple to discern.

The funny part is you're one of those posters that overuses commas, just thought I'd point that out in light of the fact that you're making fun of someone else's shoddy spelling.

i don't think he was making fun of anyone; he was simply stating the fact that people often misspell common words. also, his use of commas is often correct. i noticed that on some of your posts, you've failed to use conjunctions so you often end up with a run-on sentence.

Well I am a spelling nut myself, it's always been my belief that if people want to be taken seriously they should be able to properly communicate what they're trying to say. Was just having a bit of fun with the guy, hope he didn't take it personally.

I'd say 1 out of 4 searches online for specific movie info will bring me to this site. There are always links to Blu-ray.com, so I guess this site is much larger than I first thought. I shall have to adjust my sense of humor, or at the very least give it second thought.

I hope the local IMAX theater has Thor in IMAX 3D this Friday and that they put up showtimes soon. Going to try and do a double feature with 12 Years A Slave. Would totally be worth the bus trip up there.

What I try to do. If there are so movies out at the same time i wanna see them. I try to see them in one day so I on;t need to make one bus ride.
