I just got this tv to replace my (POS) ilo plasma from Walmart. I got it on display for only $685 and love it alot. Its says its only 720p and thats fine I guess. Ive been reading reviews about this tv and some people claim it can display a 1080p signal. I have a PS3 that I use for movies and was wondering if anyone knew if this was true.
I wanted a Westinghouse 1080p LCD but couldnt find one in stock. |

It can take a 1080p/1080i/720p signal, but it displays at 720p. This is typical now, but used to be important. Ask anybody who has a projector that only accepts certain signals. Anyway, $685 is a pretty good value. I'm sketchy about display plasmas since they're burning their colors @ probably 11k for 12 hours a day, every day. Can't really argue with sub $700 on that set though. Best of luck. Quote:
