With the review stuff I have to get through before that one, I won't be able to get to it fully until sometime early next week, but I'll have a quick flick through tomorrow at some point and report back.

I'm back again as promised with two updates

Thursday 24th October:

The replacement slip for The Witches was worse so I'll keep the original and send the replacement back. I'd ordered Dara O'Briain with another seller, but after two weeks, it never turned up so I ordered it elsewhere, and also I got the Sainsbury's exclusive release of World War Z, which I nearly missed as I'd only been reading the steelbook thread for this film and I happened to glance in the regular thread. I keep forgetting to check Sainsbury's website for their exclusives. I've now made sure I've pre-ordered Monsters University and The Wolverine from them. I'm only interested in the ones that come with bonus discs, even if they are only DVDs

Friday 25th October:

First up, the latest Grindhouse release from 88 films. Also, the first lot of the Dogwoof documentary releases I ordered. They normally come in cardboard cases, but I've had a few in standard clear DVD cases, including the top three. In a way they are better as they are less likely to get damaged in the post, as the sellers I use normally use jiffy bags and the cardboard can get damaged. On the downside though, they don't look as good, and they took up more room on my shelf

Off now to start watching Oliver!

Dogwoof are a cracking little company. Big Boys Gone Bananas is a good little documentary and it was fascinating to see how the Swedish government and community rallied around the filmmakers.

Audio was pretty good. No extras, just a trailer and some start-up trailers.
It was cheap and I don't really expect a lot from it

It was certainly worth the sub £3 price tag IMO. I'd probably buy it again with a 1080p transfer and extras if it went to a sub £5 price tag.

Love Dogwoof. Saw that film on Netflix and enjoyed it despite never actually seeing all of the first film (Bananas). Dogwoof films are generally always good - I'd recommend Chasing Ice, The House I Live In, Being Elmo, The Island President, If A Tree Falls, Tabloid, Gasland, The Yes Men Fix The World, La Antena and Black Gold...but anything from them is worth a watch. I recently got Even The Rain from them (and The House I Live In on DVD because I loved the film...one of the best documentaries of recent years) and have pre-ordered The Act Of Killing (and might do for Leviathan too).

Also this is a little off-topic, but those mentioning the slipcover on the Wicker Man 3-disc edition...I saw a copy today in HMV and fairly sure the cellophane was over the slip...in other words doesn't that mean they will all have slips? It's a horizontal wrap rather than a vertical (O-ring) wrap, usually meaning they come like that as standard?

Here's what I got today, Saturday 26th October:

The Mizoguchi boxset (number 0234), the six Zavvi steelbooks, and some more Dogwoof titles. Again, the Dogwoof titles are in a mixture of cardboard and plastic cases, and luckily the cardboard ones sent in jiffy bags were in great condition, as I was half expecting them to get dented in some way. Still got another seven I'm waiting on

Hello OgamiittoMcJ

Could you confirm for me what the supplemental features on The Sensuous Nurse disc are?

I have the R1 NoShame Release and will add this release to my library if there are new supplemental features.

Thanks in advance.

Nurse cost me £11.03 from Amazon. When I showed it in one of my updates on my YouTube channel, I made sure not to show under the slipcover

I just put the disc in to have a quick look and the trailer for Viva was on there. I've got it on pre-order anyway, but I really liked the look of it
