Hi!

I consider to buy Controller Charger for the PS3.
Does somebody know a good charger, that can handle the new Dualshock 3?

Nyko with dual charger. I don't know if they handle DS3. Its just the controller with charger + rumble.

I've seen more than one person say that you can also use a PC to charge the controllers so maybe that's another option?

Any powered USB port will work as long as you have a USB->Firewire cable.

I've charged a SixAxis using my camera's USB->Firewire cable connected to my PC before. Works just fine.

It's not firewire. It's USB-miniUSB.

You can use a phone charger for the ATT Tilt also. I usually use my laptop to charge my controllers, then you can charge them away from the PS3.

I have the same one and I like it. It can be a little difficult to get the controllers on the port until you learn the trick, but it works good and it charges the Dualshock as well.

I could use the USB cable to mini-USB and charge it on my PC.

It also turns out that the A/C chargers for my

Harmony remote
Garmin GPS
BlackBerry Smartphone
Bluetooth Headset

all work with it as well.

That's odd. I couldn't get my BlackBerry charger to work.

I use the usb port on my cable box to charge my controlers it works great because my cable box is on all the time so i can charge the controllers over night.

I would definitely save the money if you have say a home pc or so and use the USB ports on this to charge the controller. Or purchase a cheap powered USB hub to charge the bugger. I use the USB cables that came with my two controllers and hook them into the USB hub which works great.

I just picked this one up and I'm pretty happy with it..it charges two on the stand and can charge 2 more via ports out the side. The clear plastic clips light up with green or red glow depending on charge status. Very stylish IMO and easy to align the mini-usb connector .. which I've heard is an issue with the Nyko.

It also turns out that the A/C chargers for my Harmony remote Garmin GPS BlackBerry Smartphone Bluetooth Headset all work with it as well.
