Yeah, it is a common mistake about screen resolution vs size and viewing distance.

From across the room, yeah - get a big ass display/HDTV.
Sitting at a computer, 1920x1200 17" screen(like this laptop at ~20" viewing distance) is ideal!

Can't beat having that realestate either!
Two browsers side by side, a browser and a video/TV picture running next to it, PLAYING A Blu-ray Disc...

Yeah, I got a few computers in my office... the 24" monitor will be work related but I can play blu-ray movies on it now too.

I have a GTX 460
and an LG e2340v 24 inch montier

Any of them HDCP complient?

Both are HDCP compliant. You're good to go so long as your playback software is in order.
