Awesome list. Thanks Saint!

By the way, Monster's Inc. has one (this is more like during credits though). It's only on the fullscreen version of the DVD so make sure you select it from the menu if you have a widescreen TV. Very funny, outtakes and stuff (on animation!) and a mini-play "Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me".

Here's to hoping Disney/Pixar will put that on the Blu-ray version when it eventually comes out. It's f*cking hilarious.

enjoy

Only reason I caught that was I didn't want anyone to see me walking out of that cheese fest.
To whoever enjoyed Transformers I'm glad you got something out of it. I just wanted my time, money, and dignity back.
Dawn of the Dead had everyone who made it to the credits alive die. I don't see why they didn't just stay out on the water and fish for all of their meals and use buckets to draw drinking water from a river.

Austin Powers: TSWSM (I just happened to watch this one the other day).

By far I think my favorite post-credit scene is still Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Hey, "search" worked great finding this thread!

I picked up Stealth on blu for cheap, finally got a chance to watch it. It has a predictable little post-credit scene.

I was expecting to see a much larger list as I am certain that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of films with stingers attached to them.

BY THE WAY! One of the best laughs in film I have experienced was the stinger attached to 'Dodgeball: An Underdog Story'... I kept bursting into sporadic laughter for weeks after seeing it.

I didn't see anything like that, and I just watched it. Is it before or after Starscream flies off into space?

Return of the living Dead. 1985. If you like brain eating zombies and naked Lienna Quigly movies, this is the film for you!

I don't mind sitting through it at all. Actually I'm always a little annoyed when people start rushing out of the theater right after the credits start rolling. I like to fade out of the movie (if it was any good) and usually the suite played during the credits is like a show off piece for the score writer. For me it's a part of the movie, that's why I never missed a stinger

I sometimes feel daft sitting in the cinema though. I knew there was one at the end of POTC2 and insisted on sittting there waiting for it. Credits were so long the staff had even come in to start clearing up popcorn from the floor and my friend and I were the only two people still sat there. All that, just for a bit with the Dog

The Austin Powers movies continue with snipits throughout the ending credits. I'm not sure if that counts or not as the storyline is not continuing.

I'm thinking the Megatron scene may only be in the extended IMAX version, cuz it's not on the DVD.

Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that pretty much anyone can edit. When that link was originally posted, there was a large list available. You can see how the article looks at various points of time by clicking the "History" tab along the top of the article. Here's a direct link to an older version with the list intact.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=178235673

For whatever reason there's a few editors on there who think the list doesn't belong.

Wow. That link to the older version of the page is quite a bit more helpful than the current version that's on wiki now. The editors who take out the list need to be smacked upside the head. What are they thinking? The list is the "meat" of the wiki entry. Its the only reason i went to the page and the only reason I'd keep going back to it.

ps - thanks for that link darkedgex
