I am not the right person to ask about the quality of the Hunger Games films as I have as big of a crush on Jennifer Lawrence as one can have but I will give it a shot. It's really a modern day take on gladiatorial dueling between 12-18 year old kids, it's also political commentary on how some people have way too much and others have way too little. It will eventually be 4 films so definitely a good time to get into it if you're interested, movie 3 is coming out in 2014 and movie 4 is coming out in 2015.
