While I think Alex Smith is underrated (his arm has looked pretty good this year) the lack of receivers (Bowe is great but slow, Avery is okay) and the still young O-line will be too much to overcome. As a die hard Chiefs fan I see it in a different light I guess.I don't see a dominant team going in. Yeah you can say the broncos and seahawks. But both don't look any better then the Chiefs. When we played the colts, I don't think we played up to our full potential. This game we'll run run run. I'm really hoping the defense steps up. Houston is well rested. Also need our WR to catch the damn ball. Bowe and Avery dropped some easy passes. Glad we're in the position we're in. Go Chiefs.

Jets GM John Idzik declined to commit to Geno Smith as his 2014 starting quarterback.
Smith started all 16 games as a rookie, averaging just 190.3 passing yards per day while throwing 21 interceptions with four lost fumbles and 12 touchdowns. The Jets aren't just going to hand him the gig for next season. "We're all excited about having Geno as part of the Jets but we will always look to improve every position in any manner we can ... We'll look at quarterbacks, yes we'll look at quarterbacks," said Idzik. The New York Daily News expects Smith to compete with a draft pick or free agent acquisition in training camp. Mark Sanchez is expected to be released.

Well, the Seahawks have four wins against winning teams. The Chiefs have one.

It's pretty clear both the Seahawks and Broncos are better, but outside of those two teams you guys could have a chance. But having to go on the road every game isn't ideal for the Chiefs. They needed a bye week.

Bowe has been terrible. He's being out played at his position by the running back.

He could not play a snap and it shouldn't matter.

They have the "easiest" road to the Super Bowl now with home field advantage.

Panthers/Seahawks could be an epic NFC Championship, and that's what I'm hoping for... I think the Panthers are the only team with a chance to take them down in the NFC.

I don't think it's about their defense being exposed. It's more about the fact that they've had to play good QBs in the second half of the season.

Romo was the only good QB they played in the first half of the season.
