The Blu-ray Community Top 10 WORST Films of 2013 - (Read First Post)

Saw 106 movies (so far) that came out in 2013. Of those, here are the absolute worst:

1. The Bling Ring
2. Spring Breakers
3. Vehicle 19
4. The Hangover Part III
5. The Getaway
6. Identity Thief
7. Gangster Squad
8. The Purge
9. The Heat
10. A Good Day To Die Hard

...of course, this is just the worst of the movies I have actually seen. I'm sure there are plenty of horrible films I didn't bother seeing, like A Haunted House, The Starving Games, and InAPPropriate Comedy.

If you had asked me back in February, I would have been positive Die Hard 5 had a lock on the bottom spot... but the crap just kept on coming, and setting new lows.

Good list. I disagree on a couple but nothing worth getting my panties in a bunch over and I'm glad someone else finally put the wretched Hobbit on their list besides me.

One query though since you're a reasonable guy (defending of The Happening aside and yes I'm giving you shit), why Millers at number one? I thought it was a lame unfunny flick but not nearly offensive enough to make the list. So I would love to hear how this landed at the top for you.

Interesting idea, but flawed. It's pretty easy for me to avoid 'The worst' since most of them are pretty obvious, so I'd only be adding a handful of truly awful films and some mostly mediocre films.

Wasn't that a 2012 movie? I was pretty let down by that one as well.

1. Spring Breakers - Utter dreck.
2. Upstream Color - One third of a "movie" does not a movie make.
3. A Good Day to Die Hard - A bad sequel? Impossible!
4. The Hangover Part 3 - A bad sequel? Impossible!
5. Evil Dead - A bad remake? Impossible!
6. You're Next - Sharni Vinson was awesome. Everything else was horrible.
7. Oldboy - Totally unbelievable.
8. Iron Man 3 - Way better than 2, but that's not saying much.
9. Elysium - If only for Jodie Foster's "accent".
10. Stoker - Boring

Only movie on this list I've seen is Man of Steel and the only one I plan to see is Thor: The Dark World (because otherwise I won't be "caught up" with the MCU).
