Yes they are marked right and left
If place as marked the woofer side will be playing away from the seating position (depending on where you place them) Lets assume the Right surround is on a side wall...directly to your right... not in front or behind your seating position.. the surface facing forward towards the TV will have the woofer/tweeter the side facing towards the back of the room will have the tweeter/port Now lets say the speakers are on side walls but behind you by a few feet.. Setting them up as directed the woofer is now pointed towards you... if its too much you COULD simply switch the left and right sides so the woofers are pointed back away from you.. There is no single correct way to wire up a system. See what sounds bestr for you. |
