The odds may have differed a little but generally speaking most casinos had the these 4 teams as the preseason super bowl favorites & its funny cause we were just taking about parity:

broncos 6-1
49ers 7-1
hawks 8-1
pats 10-1

Also, including Cutler or Palmer, but no Romo?

Kaepernick and Wilson are dynamic and they add an extra dimension for defenses to prepare for, but they're also both helped by very strong defenses and running games.
Agreed. Got Em!!

I'm curious what kind of contract LeGarrette Blount gets this offseason. He's been amazing the last two games and is relatively young at 27 without a lot of wear on his legs. Still, he only had 772 rushing yards this regular season, had 5 games where he had 15 yards or fewer, and didn't have his first 100 yard game until week 17. If he gets a big offer I can't imagine the Patriots keeping him. I would guess they'll stick with Ridley, Vereen, and Bolden and then sign a veteran or draft one using a mid-round pick.

I can see Jerry Jones snagging him if we can't re-sign DeMarco Murray.

Home fields are worth 3 pts alone + better regular season.

Also sounds like they will be expanding thursday night package to 16 games & sell 8 game to cable + keep 8 on NFLN.

It's down to like 3.5-4 from almost 7 in a day...i got in at 6

Home field is +3 so they are only about 2 points from that. Now with Harris out for the game..the spread may go lower becasue we saw what SD did when he went out. Spreads are set to make people bet.

Probably because New England is 4-4 on the road and Denver is 7-1 at home. Denver' point differential at home is 316-180, while New England' point differential on the road is 201-173. And when Denver lost to New England, they were on the road + the last time and only time Peyton had a win against Brady in the Post Season was at home, as a Colt in 'Indy'.

What I've read is that the NFL wouldn't be expanding the number of Thursday night games, just that they're looking to split up the 13 games NFLN currently carries, with a network getting up to 8 games that air earlier in the season and NFLN keeping the later season games.

Probably just a fluid situation cause this article mentions 16 games:

"It appears that the NFL will increase the Thursday night schedule to 16 games meaning NFL Network and the winning bidder would split the package right down the middle."

http://www.awfulannouncing.com/2014/...l-package.html

I cant see NFLN keeping only just 5 games but who knows.

Chargers offensive game plan was garbage

Ball control against Peyton is good and all, but not when the running back you need to pull it off is on the bench. Woodhead is not a first down back. Then again they couldn't pass protect either so they were doomed once Ryan Mathews went out.

I would've preferred little brother in the Super Bowl, but I'll settle for big brother.

Def seems like it. Especially with these neck exams coming up. He'd have nothing left to play for. He already has nothing left to play for honestly. He got his ring. Dude has balls just for coming back.

Because they think theyre faking injury just to slow down the other teams offense.

Well, at least it makes sense that it's coming down.

It still makes no sense to start that high. 6.5+ points is a lot.

It's better than Houston's fans cheering when their own players get hurt.
