It def went over my head, but the use of POV in that scene makes it clear that the screen going black was Tony dying, It was a very detailed article that gave a lot of evidence- including discussing the hitman (guy in Member's Only jacket) and his movement, as well as the way the camera shots alteranted between Tony's POV and regular shots- and was very convincing.

It shows a lot of artistry, but unfortunately it was too artistic for most of us and we got the feeling that everything was left up in the air, when in fact it was a very definite, final and masterful resolution.
