I think by "These people" he meant the Disney customer service reps, not the forum members.

That is exactly who I meant, yes. I have had customer service reps make up stuff to me all the time before. I thought my Gamestop reference made it clear whom I was refering to.

I may be new here, but I've been going to forums in general since the 90s, so I'm not going to just call out random forum members.

Glad you cleared it up,lol. If you look at your post in question. You started your post with ''several people'' and in the same sentence...you mentioned the Disney customer reps. Your next sentence..you started with "these people'' so naturally that is who I thought you were referring to (could have been a bit more specific since you only identified ''several people'' and Disney customer service reps). No..your Gamestop reference did not make it clear (since it came after your ''these people'' comment) and your post made it sound like you were some sort of an eliteist and I didn't care for it since I thought you were being rude. I did start my reply to you "with all due respect''

No harm and no foul. I apologize for misinterpreting who you were talking about.

I hope I'm able to import the key 3D releases from Europe in the future. Do you think 3D Blu Ray will continue in Europe at least? It sounds like they have a bigger 3D viewing demographic there. At this point, I'm very pessimistic about 3D Blu Rays continuing here in the states for very much longer. After 2013 being such an awesome year for 3D releases, it's a real let down that Disney is dropping 3D like a bad habit. That means Pixar movies won't be released in 3D either.

Yeah, the 3d version for the U.S. has been put on hold indefinitely, releasing only the 2d version in the U.S., after reading the article from stitch kingdom, i'm not happy about this.

I just preordered Frozen 3D from Amazon UK. It's going to feel like a highly exclusive, rare item I own here in the U.S.

I'm going to pre order Frozen 3D as well.

I think this Digital 3D thing with Frozen is going to FAIL MISERABLY for Disney and this will be a one trick sales tactic much like how Oz The Great And Powerful was.

Yeah I guess I'm going to import it too. Kind of feels like the early days of BD3D when certain titles were more elusive than others

I'd wait until you at least have confirmation that its all regions. Disney is getting a little more protective plus if you have issues with a UK disc in the US you are going to be up the creek without a paddle.

So weird all this talk about the US not getting a 3D release on blu. The UK one still seems scheduled.

Honest question and I don't mean to start a firestorm here but, if the UK version turned out to be Region B, couldn't you just rip and burn it to a blank blu-ray getting rid of the region requirement or is that considered piracy for some reason? Thanks.

Per the copyright and piracy laws, yes, it is piracy, and illegal reverse engineering, among other issues.
