Yes. the girl on the show that ran track. She played a cop that was involved with the shooting that paralyzed the 14 year old kid.

I watched Season 1 over a couple days last week so it held my attention. The only thing is- I really didn't like Piper.

I don't think you're supposed to like Piper. They certainly made her unlikeable for some reason. I think you'll like her better in Season 2. She gets a bit of a mean streak, and you get introduced to a little character by the name of 'Vee', the greatest realistic female villain in the history of TV (imho).

Season 2 was fantastic!

Season 2 was fantastic!

To me, season 2 seemed to focus more on the supporting characters than it did Piper, which I thought was nice. I loved season 1, but in season 2 you got to know the other characters and more of their stories. I loved Rosa, especially at the end.

I'm glad this is getting a release, and I added the BDs to my Netflix queue. Hemlock Grove, so far, is the only Netflix original programming not to get released on disc. Hope that changes soon.

that probably has to do with them waiting for season 2 to start before they release season 1 so I wouldn't expect it until then... I just hope season 2 actually had a coherent plot since they don't have a (supposedly horrible) book to go off of.

since OITNB season 1 is only a month and a half away, why does amazon still say currently unavailable like it was already out? shouldn't amazon have gotten a press release from Lionsgate or something? makes them seem incompetent.

I just checked my Netflix queue and it says "Releases in May" for Orange is the New Black. Right now it's currently in my Saved Disc list, and will get bumped to my queue in a couple of weeks. Then there will probably be a wait for it, but I don't mind, as I always have a good amount of content to watch, between: Netflix BD's, bought BD's, and OTA shows.

The UK release is from Lionsgate UK, who generally use the same masters as the US where possible, disabling the Spanish track, dropping subtitles and switching region coding. If the US release is dropped, the UK release has probably gone too. Lionsgate UK can and do create their own masters, but I don't know if the demand will be high enough to justify it for them.

Also, Hemlock Grove is getting a UK BD release from Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment, for the people discussing it earlier...
