Single releases like the Halloween sequels and the Psycho sequels would be a bad move, but that's just my view on it.
Jaws 2 could be stand alone. Jaws 3D and The Revenge would be a double, and possibly an Amityville situation.

My thoughts exactly. Jaws 2 is actually a fairly good sequel, even though I often hear people trash it.

I much prefer 3D myself. I have seen it three times, and I just never did like it,

Past that, we have an even more deals on the horizon which we hope go without a hitch. If they are finalized, then the back half of 2014 will be pretty packed.
It's not clear whether the two never-been-to-DVD films are from one particular deal or split amongst the three deals.

I have always loved Part 3. It is my favorite among the sequels. It is just so cheesy that it is good and has a great cast as well.

Without Warning has never had a USA DVD release and neither has Endless Descent - could it be those two ?
They said no to Godzilla 1985
I have a hunch it is probably some more 80s slashers that VHS collectors are still holding onto

I have a question that maybe some here can help me with. If I order direct from shout and it has multiple pre orders with different release dates will they ship them all together? I ordered cat people, witch board and night of the demons. I thought they shipped a little early but nothing so far

Dunno about others experiences, but I recently purchased From Beyond and The Fog from BestBuy.com and received the slipcase in great condition.

From my experience, they ship it all together, so you'll probably be waiting until Witchboard and NotD release.

I've pre-ordered many of their releases, and they shipped most of them separately.

I don't see Universal Giving up control on Jaws 2 or Jaws 3-D

Definitely. There's zero chance of Scream acquiring any Jaws films.

Let's be optimistic. 0.01% chance.

Never say never!

I feel that way about King Kong vs. Godzilla and King Kong Escapes. I bet they would sell really well - but Im sure Universal wants a lot of $$$ for them. They should do blu rays themselves if they wont sell the two movies..
I think those + Godzilla 1985 would be the ones they could try to get, sort of the best bet to at least try and license, but I know its unlikely...
Come to think of it they could also get Gorath which is with MGM I believe. That's the one with the giant Walrus (seen only in the Japanese version)
It wouldn't really matter to me if they were under the Scream or Shout Factory line either..
Im thinking about getting Ultra Q since I love monster movies !

Hmm... Ok thanks. Anyone get cat people direct from shout yet? I'll wait until the street dates for night of the demons and witch board before trying to contact shout. Maybe since it's only a few weeks away they are waiting. How reliable is shout with sending out shipping notices?

I bet you would've said the same thing about the Psycho sequels.

How about critters and the sequels for Scream? I haven't seen them in ages.
