I've known someone who got held @ a WM for "picking up extra slips"

If you're taking a slip from a movie you aren't purchasing, they can do something about it.

Just a heads up.

Also, very surprisingly, nothing new in my stores bins.

Yeah, I'm not sure how widespread it would be. I only remember it because of the black case.

Saw 3 copies of clash of the titans/ wrath of the titans "titans double pack" in my 7.88 bin as it was called. But i failed to check my receipt till i got home and it rang up 8.96. Oh well lol.

Did see all the jurassic park movies, predators, all the alien movies and a bunch of dou le packs that were labeled walmart exclusives.

I've seen some of those double packs in the $7.88 bin recently. Thinking they have been thrown in there by mistake from the recent display Walmart has had up with the other WM exclusives (goodfellas/Heat, The Town/Argo, Unforgiven/Josey Wales, etc).

I picked up The Butterfly Effect & The Hurt Locker yesterday. A couple I've always wanted to pick up when they were higher priced & never did.

I saw several copies of Five Year Engagement this week in the blu ray bin. Think I will pick that one up soon. Also saw 1 copy of the recent remastered Robocop release with the $7.50 movie cash in the blu bin. Wasn't expecing to see that one.

That's a real nice pick-up, if it was truly ringing up at $7.88. It's an American anime from the same guys behind Red Vs. Blue. It also comes in the snazziest, black Amaray case.

My wife and I love the Arrival. Pretty cool movie. I have it on DVD, but not on Blu yet.

It's pretty good, yes, but the BD release leaves much to be desired. Holding on to the DVD release is probably best.

Do you think it's worth the $5? Is the audio any better than the Dvd?

Sure, if you're a fan and don't have it already, but the video quality is not much of an upgrade and there are no special features. Plus, the DVD is going for 25 smackers on Amazon.

The audio does appear to be the only upgrade to BD:

BD: DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1
DVD: Dolby Digital 5.1
