You called it a movie earlier in the thread. I believe movie means moving-image so I think The Act of Killing is a movie.

I disagree that the film makers' intention is the only interpretation of a film. If that is your opinion then maybe you could get a quote by Joshua Oppenheimer saying his film wasn't intended to scare the audience.

Neither of us are incorrect, it's all opinion right now and we just have to respectfully disagree with each other. I'm not as strict with film categories as you are, personally I don't see the point in getting tangled up in them.
