I'm on the fence about both programs to be honest
with pdvd 7 you have to turn off dep for the program to play all movies properly, which isn' thard, but after that it will play everything without hiccup

Windvd 9 was my favorite until i watched the golden compass which windvd 9 makes the movie look like its on crack.... the colors keep changing and wiggling... really strange... no fix that i know of...

now now guys, its not a coaster, its basically a coupon to get the full version at a discount... just install, and do an upgrade buy of the full version will save you 30-40 bucks... either program will do though... but windvd you will pay more for unless you know people
