Someone told me that people can just drop dead from shoveling snow, it is that much work and the cold weather combined that can do it. Is that true?

Yes it is true. Snow shoveling is one of the most strenuous activities one can partake in. Young people are not normally affected adversely by this, but as you age and your stamina is not what it once was you need to be careful and take frequent breaks in between.

at least a few times a year i hear on the news in my state an elderly person dies of a heart attack or something like that from the stress on the body. It's not an easy job..especially for the elderly
