lets lets be real, Thor is cool, but this franchise is Loki's.

hes been the real jewel amongst the marvel line.

none of the iron man villians can compare. iron monger, whiplash, and the mandarin......
Red skull was cool but not on Loki's level.
The Dark Elves will be forgotten in 3 years despite being written and portrayed as a huge antagonist.

I don't own any of the others on steelbook so it would be pointless getting only one of them on steelbook. Also, this guy doesn't sell me the film at all. He actually makes me not want to buy it sadly.

Those huge white Blu-Ray logos on the discs are horrible, the name of the film should be prominent not put off to the side in small writing.

Seems we UK buyers get the better deal as while our discs are also blue the film title is prominent with the format type small and off to the side.

I seriously love this movie and I really hope I don't have to spend 30$ to buy it. Here is hoping for a 19.99$ to 22.99$ release for the 3D combo pack!

If we're lucky it will be $25. No way it's going to be $20 or $23, that's going to be the price of the 2D release most likely. Just sell the 3D disc if you really have no use for it. You can usually get anywhere from $10-12 for it.

I'm only getting the 3D for 2 reasons, 1) It has a slipcover, so at least it'll still match all my other Marvel movies and 2) The Target exclusive is in 3D so I have no choice

We don't have an unboxing vid for the Loki cover, right? I wanna see it before deciding. Nothin' I love more than HQ slipcovers.

Doubt we'll see one for a while considering it's a store exclusive.

Aw man, after seeing that unboxing vid of the normal version I'm torn because it looks awesome. I like Loki enough but I'm not a superfan so I don't *need* the Target version. Gonna have to think about this now, I really don't know which one to go with.

Although I don't like that clip on the side you have to flip before it opens, and I don't like the holes under the discs either. Guess the Target one would have those as well anyway. Decisions decisions. I'll wait until pics of that come out before choosing.

I decided that even though I don't have a 3D TV, I cancelled the 1 disc 2D because I think the cover art looks like crap and went with the Thor 3D cover. I saw in Target's ad that the 3D version will be going for $24.99 so hopefully Amazon price matches that. you guys think so? I'll pay a little more for the better cover, but not the currently listed $27.96. Ah first world problems

You do realize that once you open that clip and open the case, you can press it down and it'll snap in place so you never have to do it again, right?

I've been buying these for years and only realized this six months ago. I used to tear them off the case completely. I don't know how I figured out you could snap it down, but once I did I felt like I was an idiot because of all the other cases I'd destroyed.

I too have no 3D TV but will be getting the 3D release as it just works out better value for money, here the 3D release is £18 but I will be able to sell the 3D disc for £10 making the 2D disc, case and slip only £8 while if I were to purchase just the regular 2D release it would cost £15 and come with no slip.

Cheaper and better packaging, what's not to like

Right here: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Thor-...Blu-ray/95561/

Probably the stock allocated for the online store has all been preordered.

I pre-ordered the Loki one from Target. This is the first time I've pre-ordered anything from Target. If what one poster said is true, that the price during the week of release will be $24.99, will they charge me that price, or the price at the time that I placed the order?
Also, what kind of delivery dates can I expect from a Target pre-order?
