If you read the link, it actually says it will follow what happen to Swayze and not invlove reeves. Personally I would rather it go the other way.

Amennn!!!!!! Thats what I was thinking...If they did bring him back it would be some feat of pull it out of you arse writing situation......(the wave didnt hit him right or we didnt se what we thought we saw

......TO me his storyline is over Utah could go on, but I dont think it would be the same....

If they can make a crank 2 and Jason survive to be in a sequel, I think that Bodhi can survive a minor wave.

All I can say is that without AT LEAST Keanu headlining it, I won't bother. It will turn out to be a 'Speed 2'... complete and total horse dung.

You ever been to Mavericks or the North Shore or Jaws off of Maui? Guys survive those constantly.

Ive seen that movie, and to tell the truth you see guys dieing in waves smaller then the one Bhodi went out on in the movie.....Sure some guys survive a massive 40 foot wave, but the way they shot it he was dead........I am sorry to say that it is just ridiculous to think that they would say he didnt die all of a sudden...

I'm not very happy that they've announced a sequel to one of my favorite movies. I thought a sequel would have worked 17 years ago with Bigelow directing.

The only way this works is if they can get Keanu back. He's still young enough to play Johnny Utah again. The only good Bont movie IMO was Speed. This one is going to be a disaster all the way around....remember Speed 2?
