I don't know how they can have Gambit after what they did to Rogue. Ugh. Hate hate hate hate.

I've always really loved the Gambit character. That said, they want to snag a pretty boy like Taylor Kitsch for the role? Unreal, it makes me sick to my stomach.

Hasn't Gambit always been a pretty boy/ladies man?

To the point of nausea, though? Yes, you're right. I just would have hoped they used someone else.

Point taken. Most of us have a connection with these characters, so anyone announced to play any of them will start someone yelling. I don't even care that much about the Flash, but that OC douche was a horrible decision.

Yes, totally agree with you there, and that's my point...

When you visualize a character a certain way, and also have attachments to them, then to have that perception shattered just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I don't know if you've ever seen "Friday Night Lights" (the show, not the movie), but if you haven't, you might change your mind.

Personally, I thought Taylor Kitsch was a decent choice to play Gambit... though I would have preferred the movie about "Wolverine" focused mainly on Wolverine and the film's villain instead of bringing in other characters.

Looks like a lobby footage to me; that is footage shot to promote the actor for the role to the producers and director. The second video is not worth looking at.

He prefers "dangerous charmer", but yes.
(And the YouTube was just a fan-wank, so let's move on...)

Although he never even appeared in Marvel until well into the X-Men 80's, during the "Storm loses her flight" arc (darn, I sold my first-appearance issue at a convention and never even realized it! ), even Xavier has little idea of his origins, and it's rather doubtful that he and Logan ever worked together, as Wolvie has never particularly been on good terms with, quote, "Gumbo".

Most of what I know of Gambit was from the cartoon in the 90's (damn it, when is that show and the 90's Spider-Man cartoon...as well as the Spider-Man and Hulk cartoons from the 80's...coming to "home entertainment"?).

I thought the video was interesting because the gloves seemed "Gambit", holding the card, the eyes, so on and so forth. but, I wasn't sure. The second video...I wasn't sure about, either. Didn't know if they were further along in the process than previously thought.

Personally, I'd prefer Mr. Sinister for the fourth movie (could call him something else...one of the coolest characters with the worst names), and find out Apocalypse was pulling the strings, thus setting up for a fifth movie. I like what someone else said about using Cable to "erase" the third movie.

As for the first video, there must've been some part of "Just a fan-wank" I spelled too ambiguously.
As for the second video, my suspicions were aroused by the poster's comments of "I do this for fun, with the same software"...

You mean the "Storm as a tween" arc right?

If Gambit ever shows up in an X-Men movie, I hope that they would pick Josh Holloway (Sawyer from "Lost") for the role. He'd be a perfect fit, it's almost like the character was designed around him.
