Predator 2 encoding problem

I've just bought Predator 2 (with a slip yes!) and while I don't have the pixilization others have mentioned I do have a lip sync issue. I'm using a PS3 slim. Apparently there are a few different batches out there with different codes on the underside of the disc.... Should I contact Fox Home Entertainment for a replacement?

Yes contact them for a replacement disc.

This was a problem ages ago. Predator 2 would not play unless the user got the then-current PS3 update software.

I recently bought the Trilogy for my PC's blu ray disc drive.
Never had a problem with any blu ray before but the 2nd one doesn't even start up, says my blu ray player requires an update in order to play this disc.

Contacted amazon to change it and they sent me a whole new trilogy, 1+3 work again, but the 2nd still not working.

Asked to send out Predator 2 only, instead of the trilogy and they did, still not working..
Whats wrong?!

Earlier in the thread MacEachaidh mentioned that he used AnyDVDHD to set his player's region to B and that helped to get the disc playing. I think if your software is up-to-date and it won't play you're out of luck. It might help changing a few of the settings with your player, maybe disable internet access or allow it, or allow it to store information on your PC. Sometimes things like that can help with standalone players.
