thanks for the input. that is a pretty good deal. Not sure i have the room to go 7.1 so i might actually get some bigger speakers for my rears and put them on stands. Question: If i'm watching a 7.1 soundtrack, but only have a 5.1 setup, where does the rear surround information go? Is it lost or will the receiver send both the rear and side surround info to the back speakers? i'm assuming on 5.1 setup that you're supposed to connect your surrounds to the rear surround plugs in the back of the receiver and not the side surrounds? Sorry so many questions.
