The color timing on James and the Giant Peach is a strange one that doesn't get talked about too often. There's a dark blue tint over the whole image that I don't think Henry Sellick ever approved.
DVD ![]() BD ![]() Promo Still ![]() BD ![]() Oddly, shots in the film that are meant to be dark and in shadow got brightened up. Doing so spoiled the big reveal of the insects and also killed a gag in which the whole gang has fallen on top of each other (though I don't have comparison pics for those). |
