Weird...I just received My "All the Kings Men" today, and it is in a completely different Blu-ray case? not the Eco-cases some people are complaining about but the exact type of case that You get from the "Olive" Company Blu-rays (More square), am I the only one? at least the cheaper Case looks the same when stored on a shelf, ticks Me off that now I will have to switch Cases.

Thanks for the reply rdodolak! I didn't realise that was the name (Infiniti) of the Blu-ray Cases Olive Company uses. Honestly I'd prefer the Eco-cases, at least they look esthetically more pleasing on the Shelf since all the Cases (Collection) look alike. Personally I have no problem with the Eco-Cases, as long as My Items arrive undamaged I'm fine, which is "Always" since I order 4-5 items each time and they are nicely Boxed. I'm guessing more People are going to complain with these Cases, so I and others will now be the one's to suffer for it.

Watched "Used Cars" for the first time this morning. It's a fun movie, Jack Warden is really good in the dual role of playing two totally different types of characters who both own dealerships. Kurt Russell is obviously great here along with one of his side-kicks who believes in all these weird superstitions, the bar scene in particular is great where he dumps the salt out of all the shakers.
Here's the thing though, this really isn't a $35 movie, it's really fun and I would watch it multiple times but throwing down $35 on it just ain't something I'd do. I can never justify buying a Twilight Time disc cause I "like" it, I really have to "love" it. That being said though, never say never I guess, I would like to hear the commentary track. Aside from the naughty side of "Flight" I've never really seen a Robert Zemeckis that was as vulgar as "Used Cars" is, some nudity too. Also while watching this for some reason I couldn't help but think of how good Kurt Russell could've played 'Han Solo.' Twilight Time maybe a real blunder though by not using the full original poster art with the girl holding the sign and only focusing on the lemon, the Twilight Time artwork gives off a weird vibe, feels too polished. |

Warner doesn't have a BD Archive program that makes any sense, so actually making a deal with TT would make some sense. Unless of course you think one title per month output is acceptable.

Warner licensing to TT would hardly be more than that. So WA = TT, essentially. And this doesn't count the catalog coming from regular WB release, such as Sorcerer, or Get Carter, or Tightrope, which are very TT-esque genre films. |

I thought TT is releasing 5 titles per month now. If only one is from Fox and Sony each, then where are the other 3 coming from?

It has nothing to do with being satisfied; it has everything to do with being realistic about licensing expectations. Warner has licensed one film - ONE FILM - in the 17 year history of DVD and Blu-ray, which was Badlands to Criterion, and most believe that it was a unique arrangement with Malick and the Pressman-Williams production company that even made that possible.
