Elfman has the midas touch in my book - everything he does is GOLD! My favorite is The Forbidden Zone by The Mystic Knights of The Oingo Boingo with Danny playing the Devil. Too good - do you think this title will make Blu Ray? j/k

Though the DVD is awesome a Blu is a must have if it ever releases.

When he started out, around the time of the early Burton films, I loved Danny Elfman's scores, but soon he became a one trick pony and I got bored with his shtick. You can only steal from Nino Rota and Bernard Herrmann so often before it's not homage anymore, but derivative. In more recent years his style changed, but his scores also became indistinct. Not one of my favourite composers.
