Since Hollywood can't come up with anything orginial. How about redoing Cloverfield?

Every other giant monster movie out there is already told from the perspective of the military. Cloverfield was taking the opposite approach and showing it from the point of view of regular people on the street.

But now you're basically saying "it would have been a better movie if it was just a copy of every other giant monster movie"
