They shot down Maximum Overdrive , the Rift, Ghost Town, the Car, Ghost Story the list is pretty long...
Does "No" from Scream Factory mean maybe in the future or lets hope anyway to us as collectors ?

Why even ask about movie titles if you're going to hope and wonder about them in the future ? I mean if it is with a studio such as MGM maybe there is hope because Motel Hell DID come and Without Warning did also come..
Some titles make more sense to hope for than others...

Other titles hoping for future releases reminds me of that movie AI where the poor boy sits underwater for 2000 years waiting for the blue fairy to grant him his wish to be with his mother...

Reminds me of men who are dating women who just want something casual, but the men keep hoping for that day where she commits ... before he gets committed

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with a little hope. Life is full of hope and opportunity and hope that every collector will indeed get most if not all their movie wish lists filled.

Is there credible reason to speculate that Scream Factory might release Dimension Films material previously licensed to Echo Bridge? ...Or have fanboys just gone wild with speculation again? I looked over the past few pages, but the facts seem buried in "wouldn't it be cool if..." posts.

It's in the realm of possiblity as something they have access to, but haven't picked up.

It's not out of their reach.

OK EVERYONE, THE NEW POLL IS DONE AND UP. after a long time shifting though over 1000's of titles I have narrowed down the list to just 183 titles, that Scream has a chance to get and release. This is a much more serious list and it's not wishful thinking or praying for miracles, this is dead serious, the link is to a page I'm working on to expand and everything, I hope to get it done before the end of the year, anyway, I have three links one is the Wishlist (the old list of over 1700 titles), The List (The true list to go off of), and The Poll (where to vote for The List), more things to come, hope you like it , cause it was a pain to get done, Thank you users on this thread for making some of the work easier to do, otherwise, This list won't exist, enjoy

Very fond of this update. No need for anything further. I was, however, surprised by a couple of things.
1). Phantasm 1&4 are listed, but not 3
2). Howling II, which is MGM, is also not listed, but Howling 3&5 are. Not to mention Shout Factory already has Howling 3,5,&6 through Timeless Media.

If you could not tell already, I voted. Again, these things are very minor. Another update is not at all necessary.

If you go to rent Halloween 6, 7 and 8 on Youtube, it now says LionsgateVOD.

So, I'm guessing Lionsgate has them.

Maybe since they released the uncut version of My Bloody Valentine in 2009, they would reconsider their stance on Bluray and release the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6.

Lionsgate recently released Little House on the Prairie on Bluray and it was selling decently on Amazon. So, maybe Lionsgate will consider more catalog Bluray releases again.

Scream Factory We have not sorry.

I know someone posted it before but Im not wasting my cut and paste effort
That really might mean nothing since they lost the rights to them so any studio can make offers on the films right ?

Voted as well. By the looks of it, Phantasm currently has the most votes, followed by Halloween 6 and H20, Fright Night Part 2 and Escape From New York.

Hopefully, if Lionsgate does, in fact, have the remaining Miramax titles now, they at least put in a little effort...
