Lionsgate will definitely re-issue the Echo Bridge titles.

Why? Because they didn't BUY the catalogue. They are "renting" it. If they sit on it they won't make any money. Hence the reason they released the Askewniverse films. They pretty much had to. Its probably even contractual with Miramax.

(Nothing against Askewniverse, just an example. Lionsgate only puts out what they have to in regards to catalog titles, and these Miramax titles are under that category.) The current Miramax titles on blu-ray through Lionsgate are proof of that.

So Scream didn't make a deal. Lionsgate will of course re-release the titles but of course they will probably not get the treatment they deserve. I mean they are sitting on something they could potentially make a little more money off of. Didn't somebody on here say that Synapse said somebody got Halloween 6 or something to that effect?

If you could not tell already, I voted. Again, these things are very minor. Another update is not at all necessary.
I probably will update, and also I might add P3 and H2 to the list later, but not now, I only update the list when Scream announces a new title, (a big update, new titles) ((but I will remove other titles if other studios are releasing them))

Only Features are on this list as they will not do Videos or TV Movies, (some documentaries are allowed)

Psycho IV: The Beginning isn't really a "TV Movie" (it was made for a 90s Premium channel, allowing violence, nudity, and language, the same channel that premiered a current Scream blu-ray/DVD title, Body Bags). I think it should/could be an exception on the list (as should Howling 2, as demonknight said) as they are both often requested. At least enough to say they are high up on the wishlist to a degree.

Also, Shot On Video and made-for-video/released to video titles aren't distinguished on IMDB. So some Video titles should be on the list, imo. [Example: Like Sleepaway Camp 2 /3(shot on film, released straight to video) but not Sledgehammer(shot on video).]

I've not yet viewed the list because my laptop is currently awaiting a heart transplant and my blackberry sucks ass. but sounds like its coming along great!

As much as I'd love Blu-Rays of those titles, let's be honest. Those titles just aren't as popular compared to the Halloween titles Echo Bridge had. Or From Dusk Till Dawn. Or Equilibrium. Or a decent chunk of that catalog, for that matter, which is what Lionsgate is looking at. It's the same reason why plenty of the Studio Canal Collection titles they have the rights to haven't been released in the US. Lionsgate certainly could release more catalog, I won't argue otherwise, but I didn't have any issues with the Miramax titles they did release, and as long as that gets us good releases of FDTD, for example, I won't object to it.

I think Halloween 6 and H20 probably have the largest room for improvement if Lion's Gate does release them. Especially since neither one has really ever had a decent release, other than the triple-pack from Canada. Even that one had H20 and Halloween 6 in 1080i.

Some Echo Bridge titles, like The Faculty and Halloween 8, probably wouldn't be improved upon that much. Both of those releases were some of the better Echo Bridge releases. The Faculty has never had very many special features; I believe the DVD only had a trailer, and the blu-ray has really good picture and sound quality. It was a substantial improvement over the Canadian import. Halloween 8 had most, if not all, of the extras from the DVD and the a/v quality was better than the one in the Canadian triple-pack. However, most of the Echo Bridge catalogue could stand for much improvement.

I think From Dusk till Dawn needs to a new release. I have both of the Alliance releases, and both have their faults. The original release had great sound quality, but the old color timing. The second release (the one in the steelbook) had the new color timing that Echo Bridge and Studio Canal used, but the audio was lacking.

I would be surprised if this were to happen, but I'd love to see solid releases of the Children of the Corn and Hellraiser sequels, either from Lion's Gate or Scream Factory.

So, I'm guessing Lionsgate has them.
As far as I know, even when Echo Bridge had BD/DVD rights to certain Miramax titles, LG still controlled the entire digital catalog (ie Amazon Instant, iTunes, etc).

Blasphemy! I'm actually considering removing all of the Shout slipcovers from my Blu-rays. I'm such a stickler for original art - it's just always better IMO. My favorites are The Fog, The Burning, Phantasm II and The Howling. Don't know what I'll do with the slips if I decide to do away with them. Is there a market for them?

Buy a large posterboard, cut out the images on the fronts of the slips, and make a massive collage.

That is a cool idea. Could get a poster frame from walmart and put them in that.

Scream Factory We have not sorry.

I know someone posted it before but Im not wasting my cut and paste effort
That really might mean nothing since they lost the rights to them so any studio can make offers on the films right ?
I cant belive no one had asked on facebook, before I did!! I am trully sad they didnt get the catalog, since in all reality Shout would have done justice to a lot of the titles in the catalog.

Doesn't surprise me. Who wants to put out $20 Collector's Edition versions of titles that have 20,000 bargain bin copies floating around for $5?

I get WAY more excited if it's a full special edition in nice packaging. Bargain bin stuff doesn't interest me. I was never much of a penny pincher anyway.

Well those $5 titles are going for very high prices right now, well more than $20.

But the following titles do needed upgrades and would of made excellent Scream! Factory's collectors editions:

Robert Rodrigues' From dusk Till Dawn
Robert Rodrigues' The Faculty
Wes Craven's Cursed
Halloween: Curse Of Michael Myers (Halloween 6: Director's Cut)
Halloween H20
Halloween Resurrection
Hellraiser III
Hellraiser: Bloodline
The Prophecy
Below
Equilibrium
Beowulf
They
Dracula 2000
Venom
Children Of The Corn II
Adrenalin-Fear The Rush

These ones would of made good Shout! Factory tirles:
Cypher
Gunmen
The Road killers
Fortress
Nirvana
Hidden Agenda
Men Of War
Supercop
Armour of God
Operation Condor-Armour of God

I mostly agree with cine74, will007 and Wolfking. If all of the Echo Bridge titles were competent releases with 1080P resolution and original aspect ratios and to a lesser degree lossless original audio mixes and the previously existing extras, the future sales on these titles would likely be dead as a doornail, with the possible exception of a Halloween 6 release with the Producer's Cut.

Echo Bridge botched so many of the titles that there's probably some life left in these titles, but only for a properly handled release.

Right, I wasn't saying there isn't some market for those titles, as many of us (including me) would snatch up a lot of those titles. I just think the overall sales might be hurt because most non-hardcore fans might not be interested in something already available (or already bought) for cheaper. At least that's my theory as to why Scream may possibly be not pushing hard to get them.
