I don't think it would be very offensive, I think the storyline behind The Love Guru is more focused on Mike Myers being goofy and trying to hook up the hockey player and his wife, while also trying to get with Jessica Alba. I found some pics on IESB

Mike Myers simply isn't funny. He creates these characters because he can hide behind them. And most of the time, no wait, ALL OF THE TIME! his characters aren't even funny. I won't be seeing this movie and I hope others don't either. If his lame ass movies stop making money he won't be able to do them anymore. Like I said, he just isn't funny.

Listen pal, there are a ton of people who think that he IS funny and just because you don't think he's funny doesn't mean that the rest of the world shares your opinions.

Those 'in the know in Hollywood' are trying to get people like Jessica Alba in their movies due to the fact that she's a huge draw right now, I can guarantee you that this movie will make money {and possibly spawn a sequel} and those 'in the know in Hollywood' will only be laughing at the sheer volume of money that they brought in by keeping Myers on the payroll.
