Why would he be mad at Spike? That doesn't make sense, he did business with them...end of the tv contract he got a better deal with USA/NBCU... I don't remember there being any bad blood or burned bridges there. So Spike put TNA on it's programming.... TBS/TNT had WCW and they are negotiatiing with them as well.... It's business, all business, with tv rights. There's no room for personal issues. Even if there are any....

@Dyne....looks like your right, I saw an article last night discussing that very thing. What'd be funny is if WWE went back to Spike/Viacom and TNA got snapped up by USA.....I doubt it, but, ya never know....

on RAW's final night on SpikeTV, they went out of there way and advertised TNA Impact on Spike through out the entire night during the commercials. Vince went ballistic.

The Thursday, March 20, 2014 edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV scored a final cable rating of 0.86, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 0.86 final draw marks a decrease from the 0.99 rating that the show drew the previous week.

Thursday’s edition of Impact Wrestling averaged 997,000 viewers for Spike TV, also down from the 1.209 million viewers who tuned in the week before.

The figure marks the lowest for TNA since their Thanksgiving show in November of 2013, and one of the lowest first-run numbers in the history of the show.

They'll blame it on the NCAA tournament.

They basically ripped off the Wrestlemania story line:
1. Eric Young wins the first match of the night for a shot at Magnus in their next paper view. (Same as Bryan at Wrestlemania)
2. Eric Young tells MVP he wants his shot tonight instead, even though he has an arm injury.(Same as Bryan at Wrestlemania, even the injury)
3. Dixie Carter comes out and talks about how the company is hers and Bubba Ray Dudley tells her the company is for the fans, then she slaps Bubba. (Same angle as Stephanie McMahon and HHH, plus Stephanie slapped Bryan and Batista and keep in mind that we've never seen Dixie do this before)
4. Yes chants... I kid you not, but YES chants broke out during Eric Young's time on the mic and Tenay and Taz joined in and acknowledged it.
5. EY defeats Magnus clean to win the belt and the announcers go ballistic, saying this is amazing and all other hoopla about the "underdog" winning. (We all know that's the premise of the Bryan storyline)

It was just so blatant and made TNA look even more second rate.

Samoa Joe recently suffered a concussion, so he wasn't going to get the belt. TNA is, sad to say, is swirling the drain right now....and with GFW on the way....they may lose their tv slot. The Carters should have sold the company back to Jeff Jarrett with Toby Keith when they had the chance. I don't blame the talent, but the management and creative of the company are in complete disarray.... they might as well say, "we're watching WWE and wish to thank them for booking everything for us." I shake my head at this.... it's cheap....and it's not even been a week snce Mania. No common sense.... EY is a good wrestler but there's Aries, Roode, James Storm, Chris Daniels, and hell EC3 would be better champion selections.... This would have been a good time for James Storm to steal the belt, ascend to uber-heel status and get crazy in the ring to fulfill his potential....

Technically wwe copied them on belt unification. Tna taped it and did it in November but Orton did it live before TNA aired their unification.

Pretty sure Daniels contract is up soon unfortunately and I don't think they want to pay him to stick around.
