I haven't watched season 1 yet on Amazon, but I did watch it on Netflix before it expired, and I'm almost positive that was HD. The PS3 was even displaying "Super HD." Everything just looked so crisp. Plus, none of the subtitles were the original from the show and they were forced subtitles from Netflix, including "The following takes place between..." and I know those were done in the normal "24 font" on the DVDs.
But at any rate, I'd love to see a complete series Blu-Ray set released for the show. I'm really enjoying re-watching everything before Live Another Day comes out, as it's been several years since I've watched these early seasons.

Yeah Netflix was in Super HD (which is just higher bitrate HD than the usual compressed HD birate), and I would say Amazon Instant Video looks more or less the same, well, from looking at it right now on my PC. Not sure if they have a different, slightly more compressed HD bitrate for other devices though.

Can't understand why anyone would say Day 3 sucked, the last six episodes beginning with Jack and Ryan Chappelle in the train yard right through to the end was one of the best episode runs of the entire show. 1~5 were pretty much all awesome for me, Day 6 is the series only real black eye.
Send a tweet to Jon Cassar, see if he knows anything about a Blu-ray release.

Yeah Season 3 has some great moments, but for me it's just a little bit inconsistent. Nina Myers and Ryan Chappelle scenes were all great and rank amongst the best.
