I'm such a horrible person.

Both my folks inquired as to whether the sh** was going to hit the fan tonight (based on their experience with the last GoT wedding), and I just calmly said "It's only the second episode, guys. But next week things should start to heat up."

I don't have access to the forum at work anymore so I'm not on as nearly as much as I'd like to be.....but has there been any speculation about how the series is going to end as far as who will win the throne??

On another note, I was amused the first suggestion about what to name Joffrey's new sword was "Stormbringer".

Man that was awesome! Out of the four of us watching tonight (me and three Unsullied friends) I was the only one who thought it wasn't a "slow and boring" episode. The interactions between Oberyn, Tywin and Cersei were great. Pycelle being a creep was also a funny moment

And we now know where that scene in the season trailer of the dragon flying over King's Landing actually took place.

The whole scene with Shae being sent away threw me off. Was that in the book? I'm assuming she doesn't really go since she should be at Tyrion's trial and the betrayal to him with Tywin.

Not gruesome enough. He deserved to suffer much longer. Now that it is said and done. We get to look forward to the Mountain and the Red Viper.

Yeah, in the book it was much more graphic. I kind of figured they would tone it down and cut out him clawing at his throat. I still thought it was well done though.
